The STIQMO desktop makes heavy use of Open Source software where necessary and
we would like to thank PortableApps.com for an
outstanding work on some of the applications.
We further used some nice parts of XAMPP to realize local webserver
applications. Thanks for a tremendous work on that, folks.!
For some testing and installations for encapsulated applications we used
Qemu, an amazing piece of software from France!
USB Memory Sticks
List of recommended devices will follow. We urge you to install STQIMO NOT on standard USB Flash Drives,
which have a certain limit of write I/Os. Please consider to use a USB hard drive, a selection of tested
drives will follow soon!
